Celuk Tourism Village, located in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali, is widely known as the center of traditional silvercraft with high artistic value. However, this village is now facing an artisan regeneration crisis that threatens its sustainability as a tourism destination. This research aims to identify the existing conditions and analyze the development of Celuk Tourism Village based on local wisdom through silvercraft. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, literature review, and documentation, with purposive informant selection. The results show that tourism development in Celuk Tourism Village is still not optimal. Based on the 4A tourism product components, the aspects of attractions, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary services are still underdeveloped. The main challenges include cultural value shifts, declining artisan regeneration, limited environmental management, unequal market access, and top-down management with weak institutional synergy. These factors hinder the implementation of sustainable, community-based tourism principles. This study concludes that Celuk Tourism Village has not yet succeeded in applying the basic principles of sustainable, community-based tourism. Therefore, a participatory and inclusive development strategy focusing on silvercraft preservation is needed to secure Celuk Tourism Village’s future as a local wisdom-based tourism destination.
