The concept of glocalization is a combination of globalization and localization that has emerged as a promising strategy in an effort to promote Indonesian tourism in the global realm. This article will discuss how the process of glocalization of Indonesian culture plays an important role in promoting global tourism. As well as seeing how local culture adapts and adjusts to the global market, as well as the successes and challenges that will be faced in promoting Indonesian culture. The method used in conducting this research is the literature study method, which is a method of collecting data by understanding and studying various literature related to the research. The data collection uses a method of finding sources and constructing from various sources such as books, journals, theses, reports or news that are trusted for their validity. One of the main strategies is the modernization of batik design without eliminating its traditional essence. In an effort to glocalize Indonesian culture in promoting world tourism, it would be better if it was accompanied by the community, especially young people as the next generation of the nation who love their nation's culture.
