Beach quality is crucial for the sustainability of coastal tourism. Good beach quality will increase tourist interest and visits. This research focuses on ranking the quality of Kejawanan Beach in Cirebon and identifying beach management options for beach tourism based on the beach's ranking and shortcomings. The beach boasts a diverse range of natural beauty that delights the senses, such as ocean views, crashing waves, and sand. These provide a sense of wonder and tranquility for visitors. Furthermore, the beach area also offers transitional spaces that can be used for recreation. The BARE method evaluates the entire bathing area, which includes the beach and its surrounding areas, accessible by foot and generally visible from the beach. This assessment also takes into account various beach types. The beach typology used in the BARE method categorizes Kejawanan Beach as an urban beach. Kejawanan Beach received a 3-star rating out of 5. The assessment results show that water safety and cleanliness fall into category A, beach litter falls into category B, and facilities only reach category C. Overall, the Kejawanan Beach tourist area demonstrates fairly good quality. Tourist activities described as the charm of Kejawanan's marine tourism include sunrise and sunset spots, culinary delights, photo spots and views, sand therapy, fishing spots, and enjoying the sea breeze. To enhance the quality of Kejawanan Beach as a leading tourist destination, development of facilities is necessary, particularly by providing accommodations. The findings obtained can serve as a basis for Kejawanan Beach managers to improve and optimize supporting tourism aspects.
