Produktivitas Sorgum Sudan Grass sebagai Pakan Ternak dengan Pemberian Dosis Bokashi Feses Kambing yang Berbeda

Abstract

The experimental research aims to find out about the productivity of Sudanese grass sorghum as animal feed, with different doses of bokashi from goat feces has been carried out at Vecom Farm, Lautem Municipality for 9 months. The materials used are Sudanese sorghum seeds, goat feces, soil, a set of agricultural equipment, scales, digital calipers, hand counters, tarpaulins, thermometers, and pH meters. It uses a Complete Random Design (CRD), with analysis of variancy (Anova), and a Duncan test. The doses of bokashi from goat feces used were B0 (0 kg/ha), B1 (4.500 kg/ha), B2 (5.500 kg/ha), and B3 (6.500 kg/ha). Anova showed a significant effect (P<0.05) for all variables and the Duncan test showed that B3 treatment (6.500 kg/ha) was the best for sorghum plant height (91.71 cm/plant), total leaf (96.80 leaves/bad), diamenter of stem (14.39 cm/stem), weight of fresh biomass 31.66 tons-1 and weight of dry biomass 25.61 tons-1, length of panicle 62.0 cm/plant. It was concluded that bokashi from goat feces with a dose 6.500 kg/ha could increase the productivity of Sudan grass sorghum plants as animal feed.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian experimental bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang produktivitas sorgum Sudan grass sebagai pakan ternak dengan pemberian dosis bokashi feses kambing yang berbeda telah dilakukan di Vecom Farm, Kabupaten Lautem selama 9 bulan. Bahan dan materi yang digunakan adalah bibit sorgum Sudan grass, bokashi feses kambing, tanah, seperangkat peralatan pertanian, timbangan, jangka sorong, hand counter, terpal, thermometer, dan pH meter. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan analisys of variancy (Anova) dan Duncan test. Dosis bokashi feses kambing yang digunakan adalah B0 (0 kg/ha), B1 (4.500 kg/ha), B2 (5.500 kg/ha) dan B3 (6.500 kg/ha). Anova menunjukkan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) untuk semua variabel dan Duncan test memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan B3 (6.500 kg/ha) adalah terbaik untuk tinggi tanaman sorgum Sudan grass (91,71 cm/tanaman), jumlah daun (96,80 daun/bedeng), diamenter batang sorgum (14,39 cm/batang), berat biomassa segar 31,66 ton-1 dan berat biomassa kering 25,61 ton/ha, panjang panicle sorgum 62,0 cm/tanaman. Disimpulkan bahwa bokashi feses kambing dengan dosis 6.500 kg/ha dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman sorgum Sudan grass sebagai pakan ternak.
