PENGARUH PUPUK CAMPURAN KOTORAN SAPI DENGAN ARANG AKTIF TERHADAP HASIL Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha PADA PEMOTONGAN KEDUA

Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha is a plant with potential as livestock feed.
To increase the yield of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha, fertilization is necessary.
This study aims to determine the yield of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha fertilized
with a mixture of cow manure and activated charcoal at the second harvest, and to obtain a
mixture of cow manure and activated charcoal that produces the highest yield of Asystasia
gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha at the second harvest. This study applied a completely
randomized design with 6 treatments and 5 replications, namely: P1 = 0% cow manure + 0%
activated charcoal, P2 = 0% cow manure + 100% activated charcoal, P3 = 100% cow manure +
0% activated charcoal, P4 = 75% cow manure + 25% activated charcoal, P5 = 50% cow
manure + 50% activated charcoal, P6 = 25% cow manure + 75% activated charcoal. Dry
weight (leaves, stems, roots, and total forage), the ratio of dry leaf weight to dry stem weight,
and the ratio of total dry forage weight to dry root weight were among the variables measured.
The results showed that the 50% cow manure + 50% activated charcoal (P5) fertilizer mixture
produced the highest dry weight (leaves, stems, total forage, roots) of 1.96 g, 2.10 g, 4.06 g,
1.11 g, respectively, while the ratio of total dry grass weight to dry root weight was 3.72 and
0.93, respectively, compared to the ratio of dry leaf weight to dry stem weight. In conclusion,
the productivity of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha can be increased by utilizing a
fertilizer mixture consisting of cow manure and activated charcoal. In the second cutting, a
mixture of 50% cow manure + 50% activated charcoal produced the best results for Asystasia
gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha in the second cutting.
ABSTRAK
Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha ialah tanaman yang potensial selaku pakan
ternak. Untuk meningkatkan hasil Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha perlu dilakukan
pemupukan. Studi ini bertujuan guna mengetahui perolehan Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp.
Micrantha yang dipupuk pada campuran kotoran sapi dan arang aktif pada pemotongan kedua,
dan mendapatkan campuran kotoran sapi dan arang aktif yang memberikan hasil Asystasia
gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha pada pemotongan ke-2. Studi ini menerapkan susunan acak
lengkap pada 6 perlakuan serta 5 ulangan yakni: P1 = 0% kotoran sapi + 0% arang aktif, P2 =
0% kotoran sapi + 100% arang aktif, P3 = 100% kotoran sapi + 0% arang aktif, P4 = 75%
kotoran sapi + 25% arang aktif, P5 = 50% kotoran sapi + 50% arang aktif, P6 = 25% kotoran
sapi + 75% arang aktif. Berat kering (daun, batang, akar, serta total hijauan), perbandingan
berat kering daun dengan berat kering batang, serta perbandingan berat kering total hijauan
dengan berat kering akar termasuk di antara variabel yang diukur. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pupuk campuran 50% kotoran sapi + 50% arang aktif (P5) menghasilkan
berat kering (daun, batang, total hijauan, akar) tertinggi sebesar 1,96 g, 2,10 g, 4,06 g, 1,11 g,
perbandingan antara berat total rumput kering serta berat akar kering ialah 3,72 dan 0,93,
masing-masing, terhadap perbandingan antara berat daun kering dan berat batang
kering.Kesimpulannya, Produktivitas Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Mampu ditingkatkan
dengan memanfaatkan campuran pupuk yang terdiri dari kotoran sapi serta arang aktif.
Micrantha pada pemotongan kedua, campuran 50% kotoran sapi + 50% arang aktif
memberikan hasil Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha terbaik pada pemotongan ke-2.
