Abstract

Beach clubs are currently popping up in several tourist areas, especially areas adjacent to the beach. The choice of this location near the beach is certainly the right choice because beach clubs are intended for tourists who like to enjoy the beach view and most beach clubs are equipped with swimming pools. Beach clubs not only sell views but most importantly also sell food and beverage products and are packed with entertainment and tourist attractions that make guests not bored to visit again. The impact of the existence of beach clubs for sustainable tourism in Canggu Village has a positive impact that the existence of beach clubs provides job opportunities so that local people of Canggu Village can work in this sector, this beach club has a positive impact on environmental sustainability. Where before this beach club was established, this location was just empty land on the beach without many shady trees. The negative impact of the beach club on sustainable tourism, especially on land use that is very close to the shoreline in Canggu Village. The negative impact in terms of economic accountability of the existence of beach clubs is that not all economic benefits from the beach club industry can be enjoyed by local communities.
