HASIL Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha YANG DIPUPUK KOTORAN SAPI DAN ARANG AKTIF SERTA KOMBINASINYA

Asystasia gangetica is a type of weed belonging to the Acanthaceae family that contains good nutrients as livestock feed. To improve the yield and sustainable availability of Asystasia gangetica, fertilization is necessary. This study aimed to determine the yield of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha treated with cow manure, activated charcoal, and their combinations. The research was conducted in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali Province, over a period of three months. The study used seedlings of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha and was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 5 replications: P1: no fertilization, P2 : 100% activated charcoal, P3 : 100% cow manure, P4 : 75% cow manure + 25% activated charcoal, P5 = 50% cow manure + 50% activated charcoal, and P6 : 25% cow manure + 75% activated charcoal. Each treatment was replicated five times, resulting in 30 experimental units. Observed variables included: dry weight of leaves, dry weight of stems, total dry weight of forage, the ratio of leaf dry weight to stem dry weight, and the ratio of leaf dry weight to total dry weight of forage. The results showed that the application of cow manure, activated charcoal, and their combinations did not significantly improve the variables observed. However, the combination treatment of 50% cow manure and 50% activated charcoal tended to result in the highest leaf dry weight and total dry weight of forage compared to other treatments. Based on the findings, the application of cow manure, activated charcoal, and their combinations has not yet effectively increased the yield of Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha, although the combination of 50% cow manure and 50% activated charcoal tended to provide the best results.

Asystasia gangetica adalah sejenis gulma termasuk Acanthaceae yang memiliki kandungan nutrien yang baik sebagai pakan ternak. Untuk meningkatkan hasil Asystasia gangetica dan ketersediaannya berkelanjutan perlu dilakukan pemupukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil tanaman Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha yang dipupuk kotoran sapi dan arang aktif serta kombinasinya. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Sading, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, Provinsi Bali dalam jangka waktu tiga bulan. Penelitian menggunakan bibit Asystasia gangetica (L.) subsp. Micrantha, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 5 pengulangan yaitu; perlakuan P1: tanpa pemupupukan, P2: 100% arang aktif, P3: 100% pupuk kotoran sapi, P4: 75% pupuk kotoran sapi + 25% arang aktif, P5: 50% pupuk kotoran sapi + 50% arang aktif dan P6: 25% pupuk kotoran sapi + 75% arang aktif. Perlakuan di ulang sebanyak 5 kali sehingga terdapat 30 unit percobaan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi; berat kering daun, berat kering batang, berat kering total hijauan, nisbah berat kering daun dengan berat kering batang dan nisbah berat kering daun dengan berat kering total hijauan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kotoran sapi dan arang aktif serta kombinasinya belum mampu meningkatkan variabel berat kering daun, berat kering batang, berat kering total hijauan, nisbah berat kering daun dengan berat kering batang dan nisbah berat kering daun dengan berat kering total hijauan, tetapi perlakuan kombinasi 50% pupuk kotoran sapi dan 50% arang aktif menghasilkan berat kering daun dan berat kering total hijauan cendrung tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Berdasrkan hasil penelitian pemberian pupuk kotoran sapi dan arang aktif serta kombinasinya belum dapat meningkatan hasil Asystasia gengetica (L) subsp Micrantha. Kombinasi 50% kotoran sapi + 50% arang aktif cendrung memberikan hasil Asystasia gengetica (L) subsp Micrantha yang terbaik.
