PERTUMBUHAN KEMBALI DAN HASIL Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha YANG DIBERI PUPUK UREA DENGAN SUBSTITUSI PUPUK KOTORAN SAPI PADA PEMOTONGAN KETIGA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect substitution of urea fertilizer with cow manure on the regrowth and yield of Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha on the third cutting. This research was conducted in the greenhouse at Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The study were three months, using a complete randomized design (RAL) consisting of five treatments and each repeated four times, resulting in 20 experimental units. The substitution treatment of urea fertilizer with cow manure: D0: 0 tons ha^-1, D1: 20 tons of cow manure ha^-1, D2: 200 kg urea ha^-1, D3: 150 kg urea ha^-1 + 10 tons of cow manure ha^-1 and D4: 100 kg urea ha^-1  + 15 tons of cow manure ha^-1 . The variables observed are growth variables, yield variables, and plant growing characteristics variables. The results showed that the substitution of urea fertilizer with cow manure was able to increase the regrowth and yield of plants Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha on the third cutting. At a dosage of 20 tons of cow dung ha^-1 (D1) it can increase regrowth and provide the best results for Asystasia  gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha on the third cut.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi pupuk urea dengan pupuk kotoran sapi terhadap pertumbuhan kembali dan hasil Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha pada pemotongan ketiga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah kaca, berlokasi di Desa Sading, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama tiga bulan, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan masing-masing diulang sebanyak empat kali, sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan. Perlakuan substitusi pupuk urea dengan kotoran sapi tersebut yaitu: D0: 0 ton ha^-1, D1: 20 ton kotoran sapi ha^-1, D2: 200 kg urea ha^-1, D3:150 kg urea ha^-1 + 10 ton kotoran sapi ha^-1 dan D4: 100 kg urea ha^-1 + 15 ton kotoran sapi ha^-1. Variabel yang diamati yaitu variabel pertumbuhan, variabel hasil, dan variabel karakteristik tumbuh tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi pupuk urea dengan kotoran sapi mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan kembali dan hasil tanaman Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha pada pemotongan ketiga. Pada dosis 20 ton kotoran sapi ha^-1 (D1) mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan kembali dan memberikan hasil terbaik pada tanaman Asystasia gangetica (L) subsp. Micrantha pada pemotongan ketiga.
