Conflict of Interest

Kertha Patrika requires all parties involved in the publication process to disclose and manage conflicts of interest that may affect, or could reasonably be perceived to affect, objectivity in conducting activities, preparing manuscripts, conducting peer review, making editorial decisions, or publishing articles.

Conflicts of interest (conflicts of interest/competing interests) may be financial or non-financial in nature. The existence of a relationship or interest does not, in itself, constitute a violation. Such relationships must be disclosed transparently so that they can be assessed and managed in accordance with their nature and impact on the publication process.

This policy applies to authors, peer reviewers, the Editorial Team, the publisher, and journal managers, and takes into account the principles for handling conflicts of interest developed in the COPE Guidance on Conflicts of Interest.
