About the Journal

Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan is a publication platform for academics, practitioners, and students who wish to publish scholarly works in the field of Notarial Law. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Notarial Law, with an emphasis on the originality, specificity, and currency of the articles published in each issue.

Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan was first published electronically as an Open Journal System (OJS) in December 2012 by the Master’s Program in Notarial Law, Graduate Program, Universitas Udayana, with Online ISSN 2502-7573.

Since 2016, in accordance with its academic alignment, the Master’s Program in Notarial Law has been under the Faculty of Law, Universitas Udayana, and Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan has been managed by the Publication Unit of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Udayana.

The journal aims to provide a platform for publishing critical perspectives based on original research, conceptual ideas, and review articles by academics, researchers, and legal practitioners in the field of law related to Notarial Law. The scope encompasses civil, criminal, administrative, and international legal aspects, and all submissions must not have been previously published in other media.

In an effort to improve the journal’s quality in accordance with national journal accreditation standards, the management of Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan has been continuously enhanced, both in terms of technical management and academic substance. These improvements include strengthening the quantity and quality of the Editorial Board and reviewers, both internal and external, as well as enhancing the quality of published articles through Turnitin similarity checking.

Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan is an online journal published three times a year, in April, August, and December. All published articles undergo a peer-review process, including an editorial assessment by the Board of Editors and a review process conducted by the journal’s reviewers.

To further improve its services, since 2025, Acta Comitas: Jurnal Hukum Kenotariatan has migrated to a new server : https://ejournal4.unud.ac.id/
